R-B Drive In began in 1948 as Hutchinson’s first drive-in, founded by Melvin Robinson and Lawrence Burgess. What started as a humble roadside diner became a beloved community hub, passed through generations of family care. With its carhop service, stainless-steel counter, and homemade recipes, R-B has stayed true to its roots—serving tradition, one tray at a time.
